About the Badge

The Zipper Wrangler Badge is about making peace with zippers, one project at a time. Zippers can feel dramatic until you understand the basic steps, the right tools, and a few tiny tricks that make the whole thing less chaotic. This badge invites members to practice installing zippers in a useful project and build confidence with functional sewing details.

Badge Requirements

• Choose a project that includes a zipper, such as a pouch, tote, pillow, bag, garment, or organizer.
• Learn the basic tools and techniques for zipper installation.
• Practice or complete at least one zipper installation.
• Finish the project so the zipper works properly.
• Make a note about what helped the installation go smoothly.
