About the Badge

The Unfinished Object Badge, also known as the UFO Badge, is for giving an old project another chance at daylight. This badge invites members to choose a quilt project that has been paused, ignored, hidden in a bin, or emotionally abandoned, then make a clear plan to move it forward. Finishing is wonderful, but progress counts too.

Badge Requirements

• Choose one unfinished quilting project that has been set aside.
• Review the project and make a list of what still needs to be done.
• Gather or identify any missing materials, supplies, instructions, or notes.
• Decide on a realistic next step or finish plan.
• Spend dedicated time working on the project.
• Finish the project or move it meaningfully closer to completion.

Embroidered Patch

The embroidered Quiltbound badge is made with high-quality embroidery on a twill backing and measures 2" x 2".

This patch is designed to be sewn on, so you can attach it to a quilted tote, project pouch, denim jacket, badge banner, or wherever you’re keeping track of your quilting adventures.

Please note: this is not an iron-on patch.

Vinyl Sticker

The vinyl sticker version measures 2" x 2" and is a fun, easy way to celebrate your badge without picking up a needle.
