About the Badge

The Quilted Tote Bag Badge celebrates a practical project with major “I can carry snacks and fabric in this” energy. This badge invites members to make a functional tote using quilting techniques, whether it is made from patchwork, whole cloth quilting, scraps, orphan blocks, or fabric you have been saving for the perfect project.

Badge Requirements

• Choose a quilted tote bag pattern or create your own simple tote plan.
• Select fabric, batting, lining, handles, and any extra supplies needed.
• Piece or prepare the exterior of the tote bag.
• Quilt the exterior panels using your preferred method.
• Construct the tote bag, including lining, seams, handles, and finishing details.
• Make sure the finished bag is functional and ready to use.

Embroidered Patch

The embroidered Quiltbound badge is made with high-quality embroidery on a twill backing and measures 2" x 2".

This patch is designed to be sewn on, so you can attach it to a quilted tote, project pouch, denim jacket, badge banner, or wherever you’re keeping track of your quilting adventures.

Please note: this is not an iron-on patch.

Vinyl Sticker

The vinyl sticker version measures 2" x 2" and is a fun, easy way to celebrate your badge without picking up a needle.
