About the Badge

The Local Quilt Museum Badge encourages members to explore quilting history, artistry, and preservation through a museum, gallery, historical society, or online quilt collection. This badge is about getting curious, looking closely, and remembering that every quilt has a context beyond the blocks and stitches. Tiny field trip energy, but make it fabric.

Badge Requirements

• Choose a quilt museum, textile exhibit, historical society, gallery, or online quilt collection to explore.
• Spend time looking closely at quilts from at least one exhibit, collection, time period, or theme.
• Choose at least three quilts or textile pieces that interest you.
• Make notes about the techniques, colors, materials, stories, or historical details that stood out.
• Reflect on how the visit or research changed the way you see quilting.
  

Badge Options

Embroidered Patch

The embroidered Quiltbound badge is made with high-quality embroidery on a twill backing and measures 2" x 2".

This patch is designed to be sewn on, so you can attach it to a quilted tote, project pouch, denim jacket, badge banner, or wherever you’re keeping track of your quilting adventures.

Please note: this is not an iron-on patch.

Vinyl Sticker

The vinyl sticker version measures 2" x 2" and is a fun, easy way to celebrate your badge without picking up a needle.
