Leaf Peeping | Side Trail No. 03 | PDF Pattern

Leaf Peeping is inspired by one of the best little rituals of fall: watching the leaves shift from green to gold, orange, and brown before they flutter to the ground. This block uses oversized orange peel units to create a simple, modern leaf shape with gentle curves and a cozy autumn feel.

Because the curved pieces are nice and roomy, this is a friendly place to practice curved piecing. If curves are new to you, I recommend sewing one practice block with scrap fabric first so you can get a feel for the shapes before cutting into your leaf fabric.
