About the Badge

The International Quilt Museum Badge celebrates quilting as a global art form with deep history, cultural context, and endless creative range. This badge invites members to explore quilts beyond their own sewing room by visiting the International Quilt Museum in Lincoln, Nebraska or engaging with its collections and programs online.

Badge Requirements

• Visit the International Quilt Museum in person or explore one of its online collections, programs, or educational resources.
• Choose at least three quilts, artists, exhibits, or topics to study more closely.
• Take notes about what stood out to you, such as design, technique, materials, story, history, or cultural context.
• Reflect on how the experience expanded your understanding of quilting.
• Record one idea, question, or creative spark you want to carry into your own quilting practice.
