About the Badge

The Fussy Cutter Badge celebrates the joy of noticing the good stuff hiding in your fabric. A tiny flower. A perfect little animal. A stripe that suddenly becomes very bossy about where it wants to go. This badge invites members to cut fabric with intention so motifs, symmetry, and small design details become part of the story.

Badge Requirements

• Learn what fussy cutting is and how it differs from standard fabric cutting.
• Choose fabric with motifs, stripes, repeats, or design details you want to highlight.
• Plan at least three fussy-cut pieces using a template, ruler, paper window, or other guide.
• Cut your pieces with attention to placement and seam allowance.
• Use your fussy-cut pieces in a block, EPP project, mini quilt, pouch, pillow, or other small project.
• Make a quick note about how fussy cutting changed the look or feel of your project.

Embroidered Patch

The embroidered Quiltbound badge is made with high-quality embroidery on a twill backing and measures 2" x 2".
