About the Badge

The English Paper Piecing Badge introduces a portable, precise, and deeply satisfying quilting technique that is perfect for slow stitching, travel sewing, couch sewing, and “I just need something tiny to work on while my brain buffers” moments. This badge invites members to try the basics of wrapping fabric around paper templates and stitching those shapes together by hand.

Badge Requirements

• Learn the basics of English paper piecing, including templates, basting, and hand stitching.
• Gather the supplies you need, such as paper pieces, fabric, thread, needles, and scissors.
• Prepare at least a few EPP shapes by cutting fabric and basting it around paper templates.
• Stitch your prepared shapes together by hand.
• Use your EPP piece in a small project, block, appliqué detail, mini quilt, pillow, or other finished item.

Embroidered Patch

The embroidered Quiltbound badge is made with high-quality embroidery on a twill backing and measures 2" x 2".
