About the Badge

The Conquer Curves Badge is for quilters who are ready to make peace with curved seams, or at least stop side-eyeing them from across the sewing room. This badge introduces curved piecing through approachable practice, helpful tools, and small wins. The goal is not perfection. The goal is to try the curve, learn how it behaves, and build confidence one seam at a time.

Badge Requirements

• Learn about at least two types of curved quilt blocks, such as Drunkard’s Path, Orange Peel, clamshells, or other curved designs.
• Practice cutting curved pieces using templates, specialty rulers, or another accurate method.
• Sew at least one curved seam, focusing on easing the fabric and reducing puckers.
• Make at least three curved units or blocks.
• Use your curved pieces in a block, mini quilt, pillow, wall hanging, or larger project.

Embroidered Patch

The embroidered Quiltbound badge is made with high-quality embroidery on a twill backing and measures 2" x 2".

Vinyl Sticker

The vinyl sticker version measures 2" x 2" and is a fun, easy way to celebrate your badge without picking up a needle.
