Badge Requirements

• Learn how big stitch binding differs from standard hand-stitched or machine-stitched binding.
• Gather the tools and materials needed, such as hand quilting thread or perle cotton, an appropriate needle, and binding clips or pins.
• Practice making larger, even stitches on a small fabric sample or along a test binding edge.
• Prepare binding for a quilt or quilted project.
• Finish a quilt, table runner, placemat, mini quilt, or other quilted project using big stitch binding.
