Quiltbound Badge Club FAQs

Can I join anytime?

Yes! You can join Quiltbound Club anytime. As soon as you sign up, you’ll get access to the community, the pattern library, and all past badge content right away.

Do I need to be an experienced quilter to join?

Not at all. Quiltbound Club is open to quilters of all skill levels. Whether you’re brand new or have been quilting for years, the Club is designed to give you inspiration, projects to explore, and a supportive community to learn alongside.

What's included in the Quiltbound Club Membership?

Your membership includes:

  • Unlimited access to past badge content
  • Access to the full pattern library
  • Access to the online community

It’s basically your cozy little corner of the quilting internet.

Where is Quiltbound Club hosted?

Quiltbound Club is hosted on a private platform called Circle. It’s a dedicated membership and community space where you can access Club content, browse member resources, and connect with other members all in one place.

It’s not social media, which means no noisy feed, no weird algorithm nonsense, and no need to dig through distractions to find what you’re looking for.

There is also a Circle app available, which makes it easy to stay connected and check in on the go. Just note that some account features are limited in the app, so things like managing your subscription are best done from a desktop browser.

Do I get access to past content when I join?

Yes. As soon as you join, you’ll get access to the full archive of past badge content, along with the pattern library and online community.

Do I really get a free badge every month?

Yep. Each month, members get one badge from the shop for free as part of their membership. A new code will be given each month and will be sent directly to you in our monthly email. You will need to copy the coupon code and paste it in the “Coupon” box at checkout in the Quilbound shop to redeem your free monthly badge. This coupon code is good for one badge and will expire at the end of the month.

Is this an in-person club?

Quiltbound Club is primarily an online membership, so you can join from anywhere and participate at your own pace.

That said, membership can also open the door to in-person connection through Quiltbound Club Chapters. Chapters are local groups hosted by quilt shops, guilds, and community leaders that give members a chance to gather, sew, and connect in real life.

So while the Club itself lives online, there may also be opportunities to meet up in person and be part of a local quilting community too.

Will my membership automatically renew?

Yes. Quiltbound Club memberships renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing cycle.

Monthly memberships renew each month, and annual memberships renew once per year.

How do I upgrade my monthly membership to an annual membership?

You can update your subscription inside Circle using a desktop browser.

Here’s how:

  1. Log in to Circle from a desktop browser
  2. Click your profile picture in the top right corner
  3. Click Billing
  4. Click Subscriptions
  5. Find your current subscription
  6. Click the three dots to the right
  7. Select the option to change your plan

If you switch from monthly to yearly, the cost will be prorated.

How do I cancel my membership?

You can cancel your membership inside Circle using a desktop browser. This can’t be done in the app.

Here’s how:

  1. Log in to Circle from a desktop browser
  2. Click your profile picture in the top right corner
  3. Click Billing
  4. Click Subscriptions
  5. Find your current subscription
  6. Click the three dots to the right
  7. Click Cancel

What happens when I cancel my membership?

When you cancel, your membership will remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that, you’ll lose access to the Club community, pattern library, past badge content, and member-only resources unless you rejoin later.

So no dramatic trapdoor moment — your access stays in place through the time you’ve already paid for.

Can I get a refund on my membership?

Because Quiltbound Club includes instant access to digital content and community features, memberships are non-refundable.

If you have a billing issue or think something went wrong, please reach out and I’ll do my best to help.

Can I gift a membership to Quiltbound Club?

Not at this time, but I’d love to offer that in the future.

For now, the best option is to send the recipient to the membership page so they can sign up directly.
